Medical Assistant

Join Our Growing Dermatology Practice!

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy dermatology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working closely with physicians to deliver exceptional dermatologic care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories and vital signs
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist physicians with biopsies, excisions and other treatments
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Process prescriptions, referrals, and prior authorizations
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms
• Assist with patient communication as needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and office policies
